Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and protecting
the organization's data assets. They establish and enforce
policies, standards, and procedures that govern data usage,
quality, and security. The analyst collaborates with various
departments to ensure data compliance and integrity, and they work
with data management tools to maintain the organization's data
framework. Their goal is to optimize data practices for accuracy,
security, and efficiency. Will mentor less experienced Data
Governance resources. Will assist in the execution of a variety of
initiatives related to IT and Data Management oversight. Requires a
thorough knowledge and understanding of Data Governance and have
the ability to use sound judgment when making decisions.This

a Data Governance Senior Analyst, you will:
- Data Governance Framework - Design a comprehensive data
governance framework, including Roles and Responsibilities,
Policies, Standards, and Procedures to ensure effective management
and control of corporate data assets.
- Data Governance Processes - Create, document, and implement
data governance processes and workflows, ensuring alignment with
industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and
organizational goals.
- Metadata Management - Collect, store, and keep current,
information about corporate data assets to adhere to the correct
level of data governance and priority.
- Stakeholders - Work closely with stakeholders across the
business, Legal, Compliance, Data Owners, Data Stewards and IT to
define data governance principles, roles, and responsibilities,
ensuring broad organizational buy-in and accountability.
- Data Quality Management - Develop Data Quality standards, best
practices, metrics, and monitoring mechanisms ensuring adherence to
data quality practices and in collaboration with data owners, data
stewards, and subject matter experts.
- Data Classification and Protection - Partner to develop data
classification standards and procedures ensuring compliance with
privacy regulations and data security expectations.
- Training - Conduct training programs and awareness campaigns to
educate colleagues on data governance expectations and
accountabilities.
- Risk Management - Collaborate with legal, risk and compliance
teams to ensure data governance practices adhere to relevant data
protection, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting - Establish a baseline of reporting and metrics to
highlight adherence to role expectations along with showing
progress of the overall data governance programEducation
- Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience in Financial Services, Computer Science, Business or
Risk Management. Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience in Financial Services, Computer Science, Business or
Risk Management. PreferredExperience
- 4-7 years of Data Governance and one additional Data Management
Discipline: Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data
Architecture, Data Analytics, Data Modeling. Required
- 4-7 years of experience within any of the following: Banking
(Financial Industry), Risk Management, or Data Analytics.
