.NET Web Developer III
Primary Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Hybrid position

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a .NET Web Developer III for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin.

Education and Experience

• Experience working in Visual Studio as well as Azure DevOps including repositories, version control, and deployments.
• Experience applying Object Oriented Design.
• Experience applying Standard Security methods to custom applications.
• Experience in SSRS for developing reports.
• Experience creating web API's.
• Experience following coding standards and best practices.
• Experience with testing tasks such as identifying test scenarios, test data setup, execution, and documenting test results.
• Experience utilizing the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and following IT Best Practices.
• Experience resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Experience following Iterative/Agile/Scrum Methodologies for completing projects from Initiation through Implementation and Maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborates with others and is a team player to ensure project success.
  Top Skills (5) & Years of Experience:
  • Advanced level application development skillsets including Analysis and Development within Microsoft .Net Framework. (8+ yrs).
  • Coding experience in .Net framework with MVC including Angular, C#, VB.Net, JavaScript and Bootstrap. (8+ yrs).
  • Experience coding applications in Angular (2 years).
  • Experience developing applications with Oracle backend databases including experience writing stored procedures and SQL. (8+ yrs).
  • Experience working in Visual Studio as well as Azure DevOps including keeping work items updated in addition to code management.
    Nice to Have:
    • Experience writing technical documentation.
    • Previous work experience at DNR or other government agency.
    • Experience with GIS, especially Esri JavaScript APIs.
