New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II in the 988 Lifeline Services.
Key Responsibilities

Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective coping and recovery-oriented skills
Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determines appropriate interventions
Advocates for resources and refers clients to clinical staff based on assessed needs

Required Qualifications

Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Ability to handle phone requests under time pressure
Experience with crisis intervention
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
Familiarity with structured skill training related to mental health issues
