- Many More!Job DetailsThe Senior Accountant is a full-time
position responsible for reporting, account reconciliation,
governmental and foundational reimbursement request preparation,
involvement in various day-to-day activities, and budgeting. This
position requires a highly motivated self-starter, strong
organizational skills, and the ability to maintain detailed
records.The Senior Accountant must have the ability to exercise
initiative and sound judgment and react with discretion under
varying conditions. The ideal person is flexible, positive, and has
a sense of humor. Must present a positive, professional appearance
at all times.Essential Job Duties:Prepare governmental and
foundational reimbursement requests on a quarterly basis, as well
as develop the associated project budget annuallyPrepare monthly CA
loan reporting (1502 report) and quarterly loan loss reserve
reportsInitiation, reconciliation and entry of borrower ACH
paymentsCreate accounts receivable invoices, post checks received
as well as miscellaneous ACH's receivedMonthly and quarterly GL
account reconciliation including deferred revenue, accrued interest
and cash, among othersAudit support and preparationTracking and
billing for our fiscal sponsorshipsInteract with the Development
and Compliance department in order to complete projects including,
but not limited to governmental billings and budgetsAct as a backup
for several processes, including accounts payable and
filingQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent
experienceMinimum three years experience in accounting
requiredExperience working with an automated financial management
systemStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting
PrinciplesExperience with governmental/non-profit accounting
principles and procedures preferredMust have experience reconciling
general ledger accounts and have the ability to analyze financial
data and prepare financial reports in a timely fashionKnowledge and
ability in the use of a personal computer and software applications
(e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) requiredKnowledge of Sage Fund
